Post Malone’s former fiancée, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, reportedly served him legal papers just before his performance at Coachella Weekend 2. According to documents obtained by InTouch on Tuesday, a process server hired by Park tracked down the rapper at a Downtown Los Angeles apartment block on April 18 to deliver the paperwork.
Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Malone, and Park both filed petitions for custody of their young daughter earlier this month. The couple welcomed their child in 2023 and separated before April 2025. Malone filed for custody in a Utah court on April 14, while Park submitted her motion in a Los Angeles court on April 16.
Reports from Page Six and TMZ revealed that Malone filed in Utah because that’s where they initially co-parented their child. Park requested sole physical custody and joint legal custody in her filing. According to InTouch, Park’s petition mentioned that their daughter lived with both parents until November 2024.
The rapper confirmed his relationship with Park and her pregnancy in May 2022, keeping most details private. In a rare interview on Apple Music in July 2023, Malone spoke about how fatherhood has changed him, saying, “Having a baby really put a lot into perspective and it’s really slowed me down a lot, but it’s, like, the most beautiful thing.”
Malone also shared during a CBS Sunday Morning interview in August 2024 that becoming a father has profoundly impacted him. He expressed how much he cherishes his daughter and joked about never forgetting her cries. Despite the custody battle, Malone continues to prioritize his role as a father and navigate the complexities of co-parenting with Park.
The journey of parenthood has brought both challenges and joys for Post Malone and Jamie Park, as they strive to create the best possible environment for their daughter. Their legal battle adds a new dimension to their story, highlighting the complexities of relationships and responsibilities in the public eye.
