A horrifying case of animal cruelty has come to light in California, where a suspected “serial cat killer” has been apprehended by the Santa Ana police. The arrest of 45-year-old Alejandro Acosta Oliveros was made after he was caught on video snatching a cat between two cars.
The arrest followed numerous reports of abuse and killings of cats in the area, although the exact number of pets involved has not been disclosed by the authorities. Oliveros was subsequently booked at the Santa Ana Jail on felony animal cruelty charges.
