Back in 2004, shocking images of prisoner abuse and torture by U.S. troops at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq were first revealed to the world through a report aired on the CBS television news program “60 Minutes II.”

In 1789, mutineers led by Fletcher Christian seized control of the HMS Bounty three weeks after leaving Tahiti, leaving the ship’s captain, Lieutenant William Bligh, and 18 crew members adrift in the Pacific Ocean.
