The 2025 NFL Draft has just concluded, and as always, there are winners and losers. While some teams filled major needs with their draft picks, others left major roster holes unaddressed. Let’s take a look at three NFL teams that failed to address significant needs in the draft.

### Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals entered the draft with glaring needs on defense, particularly at cornerback and safety. However, to the surprise of many, the Bengals didn’t select a single defensive back in the draft. Instead, they used their first-round pick on Shemar Stewart, an EDGE rusher with a questionable college production record. The Bengals opted for two linebackers, two offensive linemen, and a running back, neglecting their secondary needs entirely.

### Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a clear need at quarterback heading into the draft. Despite this, they didn’t address the position until the fifth round when they selected Will Howard. With Mason Rudolph slated as the starting quarterback for now, the Steelers had an opportunity to draft top quarterback prospects earlier in the draft but chose not to. The Steelers’ decision not to address the quarterback position early leaves them with a significant gap at the position.

### Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders were in need of bolstering their pass rush, but they failed to select a single pass rusher in the draft. With only five picks at their disposal, Washington used their first-round pick on an offensive tackle and focused on other positions with their remaining selections. While the Commanders added talent at cornerback, wide receiver, linebacker, and running back, their pass rush remains an area that could have used immediate attention.

In conclusion, the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Washington Commanders are three NFL teams that missed the mark in addressing major roster needs in the 2025 NFL Draft. Only time will tell how these decisions will impact their respective teams in the long run.
