Are you ready to inspire your students to become the innovators of tomorrow? The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest is calling all public school students in grades 6 to 12 to showcase how STEM can address critical issues in their communities. This hands-on project encourages students to develop social impact, environmental stewardship, and teamwork skills while competing for a share of $2 million in prizes. With at least five schools from every state set to win, the opportunities are endless!

To participate, students need to brainstorm a solution to a community problem. The application process is simple, with just three questions to answer. Define the problem, propose a solution, and explain the skills students will gain for their future. Once the application is submitted, teams may progress through the phases by providing more project details and competing for increasing prize values.

The contest is open to all subject areas, making it a versatile addition to any curriculum. Here are some ideas to kick-start your brainstorming:

In science classrooms, consider solutions for recycling or waste issues, combating invasive species, or improving water quality.

For English classrooms, focus on addressing low literacy rates, increasing access to books, or preserving indigenous languages.

Math classrooms can tackle community health and disease rates, financial insecurity, or housing discrimination.

Social studies classrooms may explore solutions for civic engagement, transportation safety, or combating social media bullying.

Elective classes like business, home economics, or family life can address fire safety, food insecurity, or supporting the elderly.

By participating in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest, schools have the chance to win up to $100,000 in prizes. State Finalists will receive $2,500 in Samsung technology and the opportunity to compete for even bigger rewards. Additional bonus awards are available for Sustainability Innovation and Rising Entrepreneurship. Don’t miss out on the chance to win your share of $2 million in Samsung technology and classroom supplies!
