Netflix is gearing up to start production on a brand new Korean action comedy thriller titled “Husbands in Action.” This exciting film will showcase an unconventional rescue mission with a comedic twist that is sure to keep audiences entertained.

The story revolves around Chung-sik, a dedicated Drug Squad detective, who finds himself in a challenging situation where he must team up with his ex-wife’s current husband, Min-seok, a veterinarian. Together, they embark on a mission to rescue Chung-sik’s ex-wife from a dangerous criminal organization. The film will be directed by Park Gyu-tae, known for his knack for blending wit and humor in his projects, as seen in his recent comedy hit “6/45.”

The lead roles in “Husbands in Action” will be portrayed by Jin Sun-kyu, known for his work in “Uprising” and “The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch,” as Chung-sik, and Gong Myoung, who has appeared in “Way Back Love” and “Citizen of a Kind,” as Min-seok. The chemistry between the two actors, who previously collaborated in the film “Extreme Job,” promises to bring an added layer of depth to the dynamic between their characters.

Joining the cast are talented actors such as Kim Ji-suk, Yoon Kyung-ho, Kang Han-na, and Lee Da-hee, who will each bring their own unique flair to their respective roles in the film. With a stellar lineup of actors, “Husbands in Action” is poised to deliver a thrilling and entertaining cinematic experience.

Produced by TPS Company, the production house behind several successful projects, including “6/45,” “Hard Hit,” “Seobok,” and “Fabricated City,” the film will be exclusively premiered on Netflix, further solidifying the streaming platform’s commitment to delivering high-quality content to its audience.
