Reality TV star Kristen Doute is officially engaged to her boyfriend Luke Broderick, as reported by RadarOnline.com. The 41-year-old was taken by surprise when Broderick proposed during a romantic boat ride in Hawaii, with a stunning 4.27 carat Emerald cut diamond ring.
Doute shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of Broderick on one knee against a beautiful sunset backdrop. She expressed her love and gratitude in the caption, stating, “[I]’m wrapped around your finger like this ring [I]’m wearing…out of the all the fish in the sea, you chose me”.
The couple first met at a wedding in June 2022, where Broderick was a groomsman, and they instantly hit it off. Despite initial concerns about the eight-year age gap, Broderick’s hunting hobby, and the long-distance nature of their relationship (he lived in Colorado while she lived in Los Angeles), Doute knew he was the one for her.
Doute opened up about her desire for a more serious commitment, expressing her longing to be a wife and a mother. She shared her struggles with previous relationships and her fear of things falling apart. Broderick, on the other hand, acknowledged the challenges they faced but was confident in their love and connection.
