On Monday, a group of far-left protestors found themselves in hot water after blocking access to Delaney Hall, an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey. The situation escalated into a chaotic confrontation with law enforcement, resulting in several arrests.

According to reports from TGP, a coalition of ā€˜faith leaders’ orchestrated a human chain, effectively obstructing emergency vehicles trying to enter the detention facility. Their aim was clear: to draw attention to their cause, but the execution proved less than peaceful.

As tensions mounted, law enforcement requested that the protesters vacate the premises. However, the demonstrators, steadfast in their resolve, chose to remain, leading to their subsequent arrest for obstructing the facility’s entrance.

Officers reported multiple arrests, citing the protestors’ refusal to comply with requests to depart. Ironically, some members of the group had previously declared their willingness to face arrest to spotlight the struggles faced in Newark.

The clashes on Monday follow a similarly tumultuous incident just days prior, where New Jersey Democrats were embroiled in a violent confrontation with ICE agents at the same facility. Footage released by ICE depicted Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver engaging in heated verbal and physical altercations with federal agents.
