Former President Donald Trump is demanding a thorough investigation into what he alleges is a significant illegal scheme linked to Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. He claims that various celebrity endorsements, framed as “entertainment services,” were part of this underhanded operation.

In a passionate late-night post on Truth Social, Trump unleashed a tirade against Harris and her Hollywood supporters. He accused her campaign of engaging in illicit campaign finance practices by diverting substantial amounts of money to high-profile entertainers like Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Bono, all in exchange for endorsements disguised as “performances.”

Trump: “HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS DISMAL PERFORMANCE DURING HER PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN? IF HE IS SUCH A FAN, WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY? ISN’T THAT A SIGNIFICANT AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???

I am calling for an extensive investigation into this matter. Candidates are not permitted to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is precisely what Kamala did, cloaked under the pretense of paying for entertainment.

This was a costly and desperate attempt to artificially inflate her meager crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these so-called “entertainers,” this was merely a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to exploit a flawed system. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!

It’s worth noting that Bruce Springsteen did perform at a Kamala Harris rally in Clarkston, Georgia, where he criticized Trump as “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous.” Trump questioned whether this payment was a covert payoff for a political endorsement masquerading as a concert.

Trump also took aim at other celebrities who backed Harris, including Beyoncé, accusing her of making illegal campaign contributions through her performances at her rallies. In October, the Harris campaign announced that Beyoncé would appear AND PERFORM at a rally in Houston, Texas, but it turned out to be a ruse to attract an audience.

The pop star ended up speaking for a mere few minutes before leaving, causing quite a stir among the crowd. “Beyoncé went up and spoke for a couple of minutes and then left, and the place went crazy,” Trump recounted to a crowd in Michigan, as reported by Fox News.

“They booed the hell out of everybody. They thought she was going to perform. What happened was my opponent got up and started speaking, and they booed her. It’s absurd. They have to use celebrities to draw a crowd, and then they send buses. We don’t send buses. Everyone comes to us. We’re just going to make America great again. It’s that simple.”

A report from The Washington Examiner reveals that Harris’s campaign squandered over $1 billion in funds, including a $1 million payment to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions in October for campaign-related services. In return, Winfrey hosted a star-studded town hall and spoke at her final rally in Philadelphia before Election Day.

“We’re voting for values and integrity,” Winfrey declared at the rally. “We’re voting for healing over hate.”

Furthermore, it has been reported that Kamala Harris’s struggling presidential campaign funneled $500,000 to Al Sharpton’s nonprofit, the National Action Network (NAN), just weeks prior to a tepid interview with Sharpton on MSNBC. According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, this donation was part of a broader $5.4 million spending spree aimed at improving her appeal among Black and Latino voters—a strategy that ultimately fell flat.

Federal campaign finance records indicate that Harris’s campaign made two payments of $250,000 each to Sharpton’s National Action Network in early September and October. Shortly after these contributions, Sharpton aired a video of Harris offering him birthday greetings, praising his “extraordinary leadership” and role as a “voice of truth.”

Trump asserted that the Democrats illegally compensated high-profile figures like Oprah, Beyoncé, and Al Sharpton for their endorsements. “Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11 million, $2 million, and $500,000 to secure the endorsement of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al? I don’t think so! Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t contribute much (she called it ‘expenses’), and Al is just a third-rate con artist. So what’s really going on here??? Clearly against the law, and I’ve heard there are many others involved!!!” Trump stated on Truth Social last year.
