Milly Alcock’s experience on the set of “House of the Dragon” was a challenging one, to say the least. In a recent interview on “The Tonight Show,” Alcock revealed that she was taken aback when someone “very high up” suggested she work with an acting coach on only her second day of filming.

The news of needing an acting coach only added to Alcock’s anxiety as she took on the role of young Rhaenyra Targaryen, a character deeply rooted in the “Game of Thrones” universe. Feeling overwhelmed, she admitted, “It just confirmed everything that I’ve kind of known to be true, [which] is that I’m not very good at my job.”

Despite her initial doubts, Alcock starred alongside Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, and Rhys Ifans in Season 1 of “House of the Dragon,” though her character only made a brief appearance in Season 2. As the show gears up for Season 3, new cast members like Tommy Flanagan, Dan Fogler, Tom Cullen, Joplin Sibtain, and Barry Sloane have joined the ensemble.

“House of the Dragon” takes viewers back 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” drawing inspiration from George R.R. Martin’s fantasy novel “Fire & Blood.” The show’s success has led to the exciting news that Season 3 has already begun filming in March.

Fans can expect more drama, intrigue, and epic storytelling as the series delves deeper into the rich history of the Targaryen family. Stay tuned for more updates as “House of the Dragon” continues to captivate audiences with its thrilling narrative and stellar performances.
