Walmart’s Chief Financial Officer, David Rainey, warned investors that Trump’s tariffs could lead to higher prices for shoppers. Despite this, Walmart clarified that Walton’s ads were not endorsed by the company and she does not have a role in decision-making. Walmart condemned violence and property damage, particularly in light of ongoing protests in LA where Trump called in the National Guard.

Despite Walmart’s stance, some far-right accounts, including Libs of Chicago, called for a boycott of the retail chain due to Walton’s involvement in the socialist movement.
