The White House has taken aim at what it calls a “far-left activist” in the form of Massachusetts Judge Brian Murphy, following his recent ruling that blocks the administration from deporting violent criminal aliens.

Reports from indicate that Judge Murphy, appointed by President Biden, has concluded that the Trump Administration overstepped its bounds by deporting seven illegal aliens to South Sudan, asserting that these individuals were not afforded “meaningful” due process due to their being sent to “third-party” nations.

In a rather pointed commentary, Judge Murphy even hinted that officials from the Trump Administration might have committed acts of contempt in their enforcement of immigration policy.

The deported individuals had amassed a disturbing array of criminal convictions, including murder, child sexual assault, drug trafficking, and robbery. They were deemed so dangerous that their home countries reportedly refused to accept them back, as noted by Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

In reaction to Judge Murphy’s ruling, the White House issued a press release that prominently featured the mugshots and criminal records of these individuals:

This is yet another instance of a far-left activist judge attempting to dictate the foreign policy of the United States and shield violent criminal illegal immigrants that President Donald J. Trump and his administration successfully removed from our streets.

“We conducted a deportation flight from Texas to remove some of the most barbaric, violent individuals illegally in the United States. No country on earth wanted to accept them because their crimes are so uniquely monstrous and barbaric… Thanks to the courageous work of the State Department and ICE and the President’s national security team, we found a nation that was willing to accept custody of these vicious illegal aliens,” stated Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

“As someone who has worked in law enforcement and with ICE for many years, I’ve witnessed the grim cycle of violent criminals being released back into the United States because their home countries refuse to take them back. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, we are now able to remove these public safety threats so they won’t prey upon our communities any longer,” added Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

Meet the criminal illegal immigrants the activist judge is purportedly trying to protect:

Enrique Arias-Hierro, a Cuban national. Convictions include homicide, armed robbery, strongarm robbery, kidnapping, and false impersonation of an official. Arrested by ICE on May 2, 2025.

Jose Manuel Rodriguez-Quinones, also from Cuba. His criminal record includes attempted first-degree murder with a weapon, battery, larceny, cocaine possession, and cocaine trafficking. Arrested by ICE on April 30, 2025.

Thongxay Nilakout, a citizen of Laos. He has been convicted of first-degree murder and robbery. Arrested by ICE on January 26, 2025.

Jesus Munoz-Gutierrez, from Mexico. Convicted of second-degree murder. Arrested by ICE on May 12, 2025.

Dian Peter Domach, a South Sudanese national. His convictions include robbery, possession of a firearm, and DUI. Arrested by ICE on May 8, 2024.

Kyaw Mya, from Burma. Convicted of lascivious acts with a child victim under 12. Arrested by ICE on February 18, 2025.

Nyo Myint, also a citizen of Burma. Convicted of first-degree sexual assault against a mentally incapacitated victim and charged with aggravated assault. Arrested by ICE on February 19, 2025.

Tuan Thanh Phan, a Vietnamese citizen. Convicted of first-degree murder and second-degree assault. Arrested by ICE on May 3, 2025.

“A local judge in Massachusetts is attempting to mandate the return of these uniquely dangerous individuals, who pose a clear threat to American safety and the well-being of victims. While we are committed to following the law and court orders, it is absurd for a district judge to dictate U.S. foreign policy and national security,” commented Assistant Secretary McLaughlin.
