Judge Strikes Down Allegations of Threats Made by Blake Lively Against Taylor Swift

On May 14, lawyers representing Justin Baldoni made shocking claims in a letter to the judge, alleging that an anonymous source had revealed that Blake Lively had threatened to leak private texts with Taylor Swift unless the singer publicly supported her.

In response, Lively’s attorney, Mike Gottlieb, vehemently denied the accusations, stating that they were “categorically false.”

However, Judge Lewis J. Liman swiftly intervened on May 15, deeming Baldoni’s letter as “improper” and irrelevant to the ongoing legal proceedings.

The legal battle between Lively, 37, and director Justin Baldoni, 41, began last December when Lively filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexual harassment, unprofessional conduct on set, and engaging in a vindictive smear campaign against her.

Baldoni refuted these allegations and retaliated in January with a countersuit, accusing Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their public relations team of defamation and extortion.

In his countersuit, Baldoni claimed that Swift and Reynolds pressured him to accept a script rewrite proposed by Lively. He detailed a meeting at the couple’s penthouse where Swift reportedly praised Lively’s script, insinuating that Baldoni had no choice but to comply with their demands.

Furthermore, Baldoni’s legal team disclosed a text message in which Lively likened herself to the character Khaleesi from Game of Thrones, referring to Reynolds and Swift as her “dragons.”
