Diddy’s legal team is seeking to dismiss a significant claim made by Kid Cudi during his testimony. They are asking the judge to strike everything related to the rapper’s accusation of Diddy’s involvement in the alleged car bombing, arguing that it is based on suspicion rather than concrete evidence.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s legal team argues that Kid Cudi’s allegations regarding the 2012 car explosion involving Diddy are merely opinions and should not be admissible in court. They emphasize that Cudi’s beliefs do not constitute concrete evidence, such as a confession or physical proof, linking Diddy to the incident.

During his testimony, Kid Cudi stated that he “knew” Diddy was involved in the Molotov cocktail attack on his Porsche following his breakup with Cassie. However, he admitted that there was no tangible evidence, such as witnesses, fingerprints, or direct proof linking Diddy to the arson.

When directly questioned about the explosion, Diddy denied any involvement. Kid Cudi expressed disbelief in Diddy’s denial and claimed that Diddy even apologized for the incident years later.
Diddy’s legal team is now advocating to exclude this entire exchange from the trial, arguing that it holds no legal relevance and could unfairly sway the jury.
The ruling on this matter is pending, but it is evident that Diddy’s legal team is aiming to dispute and dismiss this aspect of the trial. Updates will follow as the case progresses.
