Joe Biden recently disclosed his prostate cancer diagnosis and is not shying away from addressing those who doubt his mental and physical capabilities, asserting that he is still ready to fight back!
The former President of the United States made his first public appearance in Delaware since the announcement of his prostate cancer diagnosis.
During a press conference, Biden was questioned about his alleged decline in mental and physical acuity as detailed in Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s book “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.”
In a light-hearted response, Biden humorously acknowledged the allegations by joking about his supposed incapacity and then stated that he could still take on his critics with his fighting spirit intact.
While not directly naming Tapper and Thompson, Biden’s remarks seemed to allude to the authors, considering the recent release of their book and the ensuing discussions surrounding it.
Biden also expressed his opinion that if there were Democrats opposed to his re-election bid, they should have contested against him rather than criticizing from the sidelines.
It is important to note that Biden, at 82 years old and battling cancer, may not be physically prepared for a confrontation. In comparison, former President Trump will turn 79 in June.
Suggesting a potential ratings hit, Biden teasingly proposed a boxing match with Tapper for CNN viewers’ entertainment. Ding ding!
