Senator Cassidy Dismisses Trump’s ACA Repeal Plans

Following former President Trump’s recent statement about working on repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act during the presidential debate, Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.) swiftly shut down the idea. In an interview on Wednesday morning, Cassidy, a potential leader of the Senate health committee if Republicans regain control, expressed his focus on bipartisan health care reforms. He emphasized that Democrats are not interested in replacing the ACA but suggested that smaller policies on the periphery could potentially gain approval.
