August brings new adventures and challenges for Wednesday Addams in the highly anticipated Season 2 of “Wednesday” on Netflix. During the recent fan event Tudum, Netflix treated fans to a sneak peek of the first six minutes of the upcoming season, unveiling a chilling new character played by Haley Joel Osment – the Kansas City Scalper, a serial killer.

In the opening scenes of the clip, we see Wednesday, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, trapped in the basement of the Kansas City Scalper. Surrounded by eerie dolls, she narrates her harrowing experience of spending her summer hunting down the notorious killer. Confronting him face to face, she finds herself restrained and facing a doll crafted in her likeness. With a mix of fear and determination, Wednesday uses her psychic abilities to break free from her restraints and launch a fierce attack on her captor.

Returning for Season 2 alongside Ortega are familiar faces including Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Jamie McShane, and Fred Armisen. Joining the cast as new series regulars are Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. In addition to Osment, guest stars Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo will make appearances. The excitement continues to build with the addition of Lady Gaga in a mysterious role.

“Wednesday” took Netflix by storm upon its debut in November 2022, quickly becoming the streaming giant’s most-watched TV season to date. Season 2 kicks off with Part 1 premiering on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.
