The incident occurred in the fifth inning at T-Mobile Park when RamĂłn UrĂas hit a Kirby four-seamer right back at the All-Star pitcher.
Despite his best efforts, Kirby was unable to move out of the way in time, resulting in the ball striking him squarely in the jaw.
