When it comes to hiring a moving company, would you prefer one that showcases energetic, youthful workers in its ads or one that focuses on its older, less sprightly employees?

The answer seems obvious — even the simplest advertising question can be answered by anyone.

However, the federal government has been investigating Meathead Movers, a family-owned company based in California, for about a decade for alleged age discrimination. The government has demanded $15 million in penalties from the company, despite not receiving any discrimination complaints.

Meathead Movers, California’s largest independent moving company, and its CEO, Aaron Steed, have decided to fight back against the unjust investigation after a think tank brought attention to the absurd case.

The feds have targeted Meathead Movers — despite not a single discrimination complaint against the company. Meathead Movers

Goldwater Institute’s vice president for litigation, Jon Riches, expressed his concerns about the case, stating, “The EEOC is not only targeting a successful American company on what appears to be pretextual grounds, but now it’s refusing to tell the public why it did that.
