Earth911 Inspiration: Listen To The Voices Of Nature

Nature is full of voices that we must choose to hear, as poet John Keats beautifully reminds us in his poem. The Poetry of Earth is never dead, even when all the birds are faint with the hot sun and hide in cooling trees. The Grasshopper’s voice runs from hedge to hedge about the new-mown mead, taking the lead in summer luxury. The Grasshopper never tires of his delights, finding rest beneath some pleasant weed.

The poetry of Earth ceases never, even on a lone winter evening when the frost has wrought a silence. The Cricket’s song shrills from the stove, increasing in warmth ever so slightly. The Grasshopper’s song can be heard among some grassy hills, seemingly lost in drowsiness.

This beautiful imagery of nature’s poetry serves as an inspiration for Earth911, reminding us to think of the planet first every day. We are encouraged to post and share these inspirations, spreading the message of environmental awareness and appreciation.

Listening to the voices of nature can fill our lives with wonder and gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us. Take a moment to pause, listen, and appreciate the poetry of Earth in all its forms. Let us be inspired by the simplicity and complexity of nature, and strive to protect and preserve our planet for future generations to enjoy.
