Gonzaga basketball fans have high hopes for the 2025-26 season, as the Bulldogs return a strong inside duo in Graham Ike and Braden Huff. However, the team will face challenges on the perimeter with some new faces stepping into key roles. Let’s take a closer look at the evolving Gonzaga squad for the upcoming season.

Starting lineup:
– Guard: Braeden Smith
Smith, a junior transfer from Colgate, brings scoring and playmaking skills to the Bulldogs. With an average of 12.5 points and 5.6 assists per game in his last season, Smith’s shooting ability from beyond the arc will be crucial for Gonzaga.

– Guard: Adam Miller
Miller, a seasoned veteran with experience at multiple schools, is known for his sharpshooting from long range. With a 43% three-point shooting percentage last season, he will provide valuable spacing for the team’s inside threats.

– Forward: Tyon Grant-Foster
A former Kansas recruit, Grant-Foster is a versatile scorer and athlete who can contribute on both ends of the floor. Despite a slight dip in his scoring numbers last season, his experience and athleticism will be key for Gonzaga’s transition game.

– Forward: Graham Ike
Ike, a super senior transfer from Wyoming, is a dominant force in the paint for the Bulldogs. With an impressive stat line of 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, Ike’s inside presence and improved perimeter shooting make him a standout player for Gonzaga.

– Forward: Braden Huff
Huff, a 6-foot-10 junior, will transition from a bench role to a starting position this season. With solid scoring and rebounding numbers off the bench, he will form a formidable frontcourt pairing with Ike.

Rotation Players:
Freshman Davis Fogle, center Ismaila Diagne, and guard Steele Venters are expected to provide valuable minutes off the bench. Incoming freshman Parker Jackson adds size and versatility to the lineup, offering depth both inside and outside.

Impact Players:
The duo of Ike and Huff will be a tough matchup for any team, with their combined inside presence and scoring ability. While the guards remain a question mark, the frontcourt duo will be the driving force behind Gonzaga’s success this season.

Overall, the Bulldogs have a solid mix of experience and talent heading into the 2025-26 season. With a strong inside game and promising newcomers on the perimeter, Gonzaga has the potential to build on last year’s success and make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. Fans can expect an exciting season ahead as the team continues to develop and grow under head coach Mark Few’s guidance.
