Chloë Sevigny has been confirmed as a series regular in the upcoming Peacock adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel, “The Five-Star Weekend.” The series, which was first announced in January, will also star Jennifer Garner and Rebecca Hall.
Garner will play the lead role of Hollis Shaw, a renowned food influencer who is faced with a devastating loss that begins to unravel her seemingly perfect life. To cope with her grief and rediscover herself, Hollis decides to host a weekend getaway at her Nantucket home with three friends from different stages of her life. The weekend promises to be a transformative experience as boundaries are pushed and secrets are revealed against the backdrop of a luxurious coastal setting.
Sevigny will take on the role of Tatum McKenzie in the series. Known for her collaborations with Ryan Murphy, Sevigny has appeared in various TV shows such as “American Horror Story,” “Feud,” and “Monster.” She has also starred in films like “Boys Don’t Cry” and the HBO series “Big Love,” earning critical acclaim for her performances.
The creative team behind “The Five-Star Weekend” includes creator and writer Bekah Brunstetter, who also serves as an executive producer. Beth Schacter is on board as a writer and executive producer, with Garner also executive producing alongside Sue Naegle and Ali Krug through Dinner Party Productions. Elin Hilderbrand, the author of the source material, is also an executive producer on the project. The series is being produced by UCP, with Dinner Party Productions currently under an overall deal with the studio.
