President Trump Reacts to Elon Musk’s Apology

In a surprising turn of events, President Trump has responded positively to Elon Musk’s recent apology. The former “first buddy” admitted that he had gone “too far” in his personal attacks on the commander in chief.

“I thought it was very nice that he did that,” the president told The Post in a brief phone conversation on Wednesday morning. However, Trump did not indicate whether he was ready to move past their public feud with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO.

Elon Musk, 53, lashed out at Trump on social media last Thursday, claiming that the Republican would not have won the 2024 election without his help. He also insinuated that the president was involved in blocking the release of files on Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile, due to their past association.

“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” Musk wrote in his apology posted late Tuesday, after deleting his previous mention of the Epstein files.
