He claimed that “Illegal Migrants” are entering the country in large numbers and taking jobs from Black and Hispanic individuals who have held them for years. This echoes his previous racist remarks about immigrants allegedly displacing Black workers, a claim that economists have debunked.
Trump and his running mate JD Vance have faced criticism for spreading unfounded rumors that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, are consuming residents’ pets.
In addition, Trump has repeatedly questioned Harris’ racial background and falsely implied that she only began identifying as Black recently to advance her political career, despite her consistent identification as Black.
