In a related turn of events, ‘Juror 6’ was dismissed for providing false information during the jury selection process. Now, another juror is under scrutiny for potentially discussing the case inappropriately.
The prosecution is anticipated to wrap up by Wednesday.
Fox News reported:
“In a letter submitted by the government on Monday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office indicated that they do not object to further fact-finding concerning a second juror, who may have communicated with a former colleague about jury duties.”
The defense contends that because ‘Juror 6’ was dismissed, this second juror should also be excused. The prosecution, however, opposes linking the two issues but is open to additional questioning of the second juror.
