Deputies Investigating Suspicious Death Near Ward in Unincorporated Boulder County

Sheriff’s officials in Boulder County have announced that deputies are currently investigating a suspicious death near Ward in unincorporated Boulder County.

According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to reports of a possible body found near the 8000 block of Overland Road — about six miles north of Ward — around 9:37 a.m. last Saturday.

Upon arrival, rescue personnel and deputies discovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials confirmed.

The death is being treated as suspicious and is currently under investigation. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim at a later date.
