Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. is championing the use of wearable technology to track health as part of his “MAHA” agenda.

In a House Committee hearing, Kennedy announced a major campaign to promote the use of wearables like FitBits, Oura Rings, and Apple Watches to encourage healthier lifestyles among Americans, especially given the high obesity rate of 40%.

According to Kennedy, wearables empower individuals to monitor their health metrics such as glucose levels and heart rates, allowing them to make informed decisions about their diet and exercise habits.

Kennedy envisions a future where every American uses wearable technology as a key component of the MAHA agenda to improve the nation’s health.

He believes that access to real-time health data will lead to better dietary choices and increased physical activity among the population.

Kennedy has previously highlighted the national security implications of obesity on military readiness during his Senate confirmation hearing.

Dr. Casey Means, Trump’s nominee for Surgeon General, supports the use of Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) products to address metabolic health issues in the US.

Means, who is affiliated with Levels, a company that produces CGM technology, advocates for the use of these devices to alleviate metabolic suffering in the population.

Levels’ technology attaches to the user’s arm and provides accurate metabolic data to their smartphone in real-time.

On another front, Kennedy announced that Starbucks will align its menu with the MAHA agenda, focusing on eliminating artificial additives and promoting healthier options.

Earlier this year, Kennedy banned the use of artificial dyes in American food products as part of his efforts to improve the nation’s health.
