It’s hard to fathom.
A disturbing incident has emerged involving a group of fifth-grade girls who allegedly conspired to murder a boy and disguise it as a suicide.
According to a recently published police report, four fifth-grade girls from Legacy Traditional School in Surprise, Arizona, devised a chilling plan to fatally stab a classmate in a school bathroom and forge a suicide note to mislead investigators.
One of the girls, reportedly in a ârelationshipâ with the victim, harbored resentment after he âcheatedâ on her, leading her to seek revenge.
The plot reportedly unfolded during a lunch break in October 2024, where the girls gathered to strategize how to âeliminateâ the boy.
Their plan involved luring the victim into the bathroom, with one girl positioned as a lookout, another tasked with writing the suicide note, and a third designated to carry out the stabbing.
In a foreboding touch, the girls even discussed wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints behind.
The police report reveals that a concerned parent alerted the school after a student overheard the girls discussing their sinister intentions.
During police interviews, three of the girls expressed remorse and apologized for their actions, while the fourth reportedly laughed, showing little concern for the gravity of the situation, which was mirrored by her parent’s nonchalant demeanor.
âThe four studentsâtwo aged 10 and two aged 11âwere arrested on charges of making threats and disorderly conduct, as detailed in the report. They were subsequently released into their parents’ custody and suspended, facing potential expulsion,â NBC News reported.
