A thrilling #1 contender’s match took place on the latest episode of WWE NXT, determining the challenger for Oba Femi’s NXT Championship at The Great American Bash. The match featured Yoshiki Inamura facing off against LFG winner Jasper Troy.

Standing at an impressive 6-foot-5, Jasper Troy had previously challenged The Ruler for the title but fell short in his attempt. Prior to his match against Inamura, a video package showcased Troy cutting a fiery promo backstage, expressing his desire for a rematch against Oba Femi.

The #1 contender’s match was intense from the start, with Jasper Troy showcasing his strength and agility. He delivered a series of powerful moves including a kick to the midsection, a bodyslam, and a jumping elbow drop. Not to be outdone, Yoshiki Inamura fought back with a back suplex and a jumping elbow of his own, keeping the momentum of the match unpredictable.

As the match progressed, Jasper Troy managed to execute a World’s Strongest Slam and attempted multiple big splashes, but only secured a two-count. Inamura, showing resilience and determination, countered with two bodyslams and a spectacular frog splash to secure the victory. In a surprising turn of events, Yoshiki Inamura emerged victorious, earning the right to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship.

The WWE Universe was left in awe by Inamura’s upset win and eagerly anticipated the upcoming title match at The Great American Bash. With both superstars showcasing their skills and determination in the ring, the stage is set for an epic showdown for the coveted NXT Championship.

The post-match excitement and anticipation for the championship clash added a new layer of excitement to the NXT landscape, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown between two formidable competitors. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as the NXT Championship match draws closer.
