Olivia Nuzzi, the alleged mistress of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has been making waves on social media with her bizarre posts before news of their rumored relationship came to light. Nuzzi, a star reporter for New York Magazine, shared controversial content that raised eyebrows among her followers.
One of Nuzzi’s posts featured a parodied Lana Del Ray album cover that seemed to mock transsexuals. Additionally, she shared her interest in the paranormal on her Instagram account, documenting a trip to Nevada with her boyfriend Ryan Lizza where they went “UFO hunting.”
Moreover, Nuzzi’s social media activity included multiple posts about Donald Trump, including one where she claimed to have examined his injured ear from his first assassination attempt. Interestingly, Nuzzi’s alleged affair with Kennedy reportedly began after she wrote an article about him for New York Magazine.
Following the revelation of her relationship with Kennedy, Nuzzi has been placed on leave by her employer. New York Magazine stated that had they known about the affair, Nuzzi would not have been allowed to cover the presidential campaign.
In a statement released by Nuzzi, she admitted to engaging in a personal relationship with a former subject while reporting on the campaign. Although the relationship was not physical, Nuzzi acknowledged that it should have been disclosed to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.
Kennedy, on the other hand, denied the affair and claimed to have only met Nuzzi once for an interview. The situation is particularly ironic considering Nuzzi’s past social media post criticizing Hollywood’s portrayal of female reporters using sex to advance their careers.
Kennedy, who is married to his third wife Cheryl Hines, has six children and two grandchildren. He is also a stepfather to Hines’ daughter from a previous relationship. Despite the controversy surrounding their alleged affair, Nuzzi and Kennedy’s relationship remains a topic of discussion in the media.
