Brooklyn Vagrant Who Killed Dog in Prospect Park Still Terrorizing Park-Goers

A Brooklyn vagrant who gained notoriety for killing a golden retriever named Moose in Prospect Park three years ago is once again causing fear among park-goers, both human and animal alike, according to recent reports.

The owner of Moose, Jessica Chrustic, recently spoke out about an incident where the man threatened her with a gun outside the Picnic House in the park on April 23. Despite filing a police report, no action has been taken against the man, leaving Chrustic and others feeling unsafe in the park.

Another woman reported a frightening encounter with the man last weekend near Grand Army Plaza, where he aggressively lunged at her dog, causing distress and fear.

The unidentified man, often seen carrying two large bags and a stick, has been described as extraordinarily aggressive and unpredictable by those who have encountered him.

Chrustic, still reeling from the loss of Moose, expressed frustration at the lack of action taken against the man, who she claims used a stick to fatally injure her beloved pet in 2002.

Despite repeated sightings of the man in the park, authorities have not addressed the ongoing threat he poses to park-goers and their pets. Chrustic believes that the lack of action is due to a reluctance to confront individuals with mental health issues.

The NYPD and Parks Department have not responded to requests for comment on the matter, leaving many concerned about the safety of visitors to Prospect Park.

Chrustic remains determined to prevent any other dog from suffering the same fate as Moose and is calling for stronger measures to be taken to ensure the safety of all park-goers.
