Two Senior Advertising Executives Join Tubi from Snapchat
Tubi, the popular free, ad-supported streaming service owned by Fox, has made a significant move by hiring two senior advertising executives from Snapchat’s parent company. Sharon Silverstein and Katelyn Kroneman are the latest additions to Tubi’s team, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise in the advertising industry.
Silverstein and Kroneman both have backgrounds at Viacom as well, making their reunion with Jeff Lucas, Tubi’s chief revenue officer, even more significant. Lucas, who joined Tubi in 2024 after stints at Snap and Viacom, is excited to have Silverstein and Kroneman on board to help drive the company’s advertising efforts.
Silverstein will be taking on the role of senior VP, head of U.S. industry verticals, based in Los Angeles. In this position, she will be overseeing all category leads across industry verticals and working closely with Tubi’s regional leadership. With a background at Snap and Viacom, Silverstein brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Kroneman, on the other hand, joins Tubi as VP of finance and QSR verticals, based in Chicago. With experience across multiple verticals including CPG, restaurants, financial services, and more, Kroneman is well-equipped to help Tubi expand its advertising reach in these key sectors.
Tubi has been making waves in the streaming industry, recently announcing that it has surpassed 100 million monthly active users. With a vast library of movies and TV episodes available for free with ads, Tubi has become a go-to destination for streaming entertainment. Owned by Fox Corp. since 2020, Tubi continues to grow and innovate in the competitive streaming landscape.
