The reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Nabil Anane of Algeria and Thailand, is gearing up for a return to the ring later this year. The 21-year-old fighter has set his sights on a major event in Japan and is eager to showcase his skills on the grand stage.

Anane is eyeing a spot on the blockbuster ONE 173 card in Tokyo and has already identified a couple of potential opponents he would like to face. Among them are former two-division, two-sport king Superlek Kiatmoo9, also known as ‘The Kicking Machine’, and English multi-sport, multi-division titleholder Jonathan Haggerty, popularly referred to as ‘The General’.

In a recent interview with veteran MMA reporter Nick Atkin, Anane expressed his willingness to take on Superlek and Haggerty, provided they make weight for the fights. The young fighter emphasized that he is open to any challenge and is excited about the prospect of competing in Japan, a place he holds in high regard.

Standing at an impressive six-foot-four inches tall, Anane has established himself as a dominant force in the world of martial arts, particularly in the bantamweight division. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the ONE Championship ring, eager to witness his skills and tenacity in action once again.

Meanwhile, ONE Championship is set to make a grand return to Tokyo with the upcoming ONE 173 event titled ‘Superbon vs. Noiri’. Scheduled to take place at the Ariake Arena on Sunday, November 16, the event promises to be a thrilling showcase of elite combat sports talent.

In the main event, ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon from Thailand will face interim titleholder Masaaki Noiri of Japan in a unification bout. The co-main event will feature ONE heavyweight MMA world champion Oumar ‘Reug Reug’ Kane in a rematch against former divisional king Anatoly Malykhin.
