The Wimbledon women’s final concluded abruptly on Saturday with Poland’s Iga Świątek delivering a swift, decisive victory over American player Amanda Anisimova.

Świątek, 24, took an early lead in the competition and maintained a relentless pace to secure a 6-0, 6-0 victory in under an hour of play.
This marked only the second time in the Open era that the Wimbledon title was won with a double bagel, signifying a complete dominance by one player.
