ServiceNow’s Acquisition of Moveworks Faces Regulatory Scrutiny

ServiceNow’s recent acquisition of enterprise AI startup Moveworks is currently under the radar of regulatory scrutiny.

According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Justice Department is conducting an antitrust review of the acquisition. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the probe commenced in June, with both companies now facing a “second request” for additional information before the deal can proceed.

In March, ServiceNow announced its plans to acquire Moveworks for a staggering $2.85 billion. The initial prediction was for the deal to be finalized in the latter half of 2025.

Moveworks has refrained from providing any comments on the matter. JS has reached out to ServiceNow for further details and will update the article accordingly.
