Police have identified the suspect behind the horrific stabbing incident at a Walmart Superstore in Michigan on Saturday evening. Brandon Gille, 42, has been charged with one count of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder following the attack in Traverse City.

Authorities have expressed confidence in Gille being the perpetrator, as stated by Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael D. Shea during a press conference on Sunday afternoon. The suspect allegedly stabbed 11 people, with the oldest victims being in their 80s.

Images released by the police show a mugshot of Gille, along with a photo of the knife used in the attack. The motive behind the stabbing spree is still under investigation, and authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that may be relevant to the case.

As this is a developing story, updates will be provided as more details emerge. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
