Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has made his return to pre-season training with a short but impactful message on social media. Amidst speculation about his future at the club, the Brazil international took to Instagram to share a four-word message that read: “Volvemos a la oficina” (Back in the office).

Rodrygo’s time at the Santiago Bernabeu has been under scrutiny in recent months, with reports suggesting that he was unhappy with his role in the squad. Despite being a key player for Real Madrid since his arrival in 2019 from Santos in a €45 million deal, the 24-year-old found himself sidelined following the arrivals of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.

Under former manager Carlo Ancelotti and now with Xabi Alonso at the helm, Rodrygo has struggled to secure a spot in the starting XI. His playing time has been limited, with just 92 minutes of action in the FIFA Club World Cup and one start last season.

Despite being linked with a potential move away from Real Madrid, with clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested, Rodrygo’s latest message on social media suggests that he is focused on returning to work and making an impact for the Spanish giants.

In his time at Real Madrid, Rodrygo has made 270 appearances, scoring 68 goals and providing 51 assists. He has been instrumental in the club’s success, winning 13 trophies including three LaLiga titles and two Champions Leagues.

Meanwhile, versatile midfielder Brahim Diaz is set to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu with reports indicating that he has accepted new terms from the club. Despite not being a regular starter, Diaz has been a valuable squad player since joining from Manchester City in 2019 for €17 million.

As Real Madrid prepare for the upcoming season under Xabi Alonso’s guidance, the futures of both Rodrygo and Diaz seem to be taking positive turns. With a renewed focus and determination, they will aim to contribute to the club’s success on the pitch.
