The art scene in Los Angeles is buzzing with a diverse range of exhibitions this month, each offering a unique perspective on art and culture. From transformative resin sculptures to evocative ceramic works, here are some of the must-see exhibitions taking place in the city:

Kevin Beasley’s exhibition at Regen Projects showcases his unique use of resin to create translucent abstractions out of everyday items. Titled “What delineates the edge,” the show features freestanding screens and wall-mounted panels that incorporate textiles, garments, wood, and steel, creating colorful and textured compositions.

At Parker Gallery, Zachary Leener presents “Cloud Chips,” a collection of enigmatic terra cotta sculptures that blend organic minimalism with personal significance. These works reflect a mix of playful formalism and psychological depth, inviting viewers to explore their autobiographical narratives.

Fidencio Fifield-Perez’s exhibition at Commonwealth and Council, titled “not never over nothing,” delves into the artist’s experience with the state’s immigration system. Using painting, weaving, and collage, Fifield-Perez transforms bureaucratic documents into intricate patterns and lush still lifes, highlighting the resilience of the individual amidst institutional indifference.

For a unique glimpse into Ghana’s mobile cinema industry, head to Beyond the Streets for the “VHS Dreams” exhibition curated by Deadly Prey Gallery. Featuring hand-painted movie posters that embellish Hollywood narratives with local flair, this show offers a fascinating look at the intersection of art and cinema in Ghana.

Marnie Weber’s “The Dollhouse” exhibition at Laguna Art Museum presents a surreal and immersive vision of femininity through sculpture, photography, and collage. The monumental model features 11 rooms, each telling a different chapter of a psychological drama, inviting viewers into a whimsical and mysterious world.
