Legendary Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson recently made headlines for his scathing criticism of the Cleveland Browns. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Dickerson did not hold back in expressing his disdain for the struggling NFL team, calling them “horrible” and expressing his disappointment in their decision to draft Shedeur Sanders.

Dickerson, known for his prolific career in the NFL, was vocal in his disapproval of the Browns’ performance and track record with quarterbacks. He expressed his frustration with the organization, stating that he wished Shedeur Sanders, the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, had been drafted by a different team.

The former running back, who was a dominant force on the field during his time in the league, emphasized his belief that the Browns are not a strong football team and have a history of mishandling quarterback talent. Dickerson’s comments shed light on the disappointment he feels towards the team and his hope that Shedeur will have the opportunity to thrive elsewhere in the NFL.

“I hate to see him there,” Dickerson said of Shedeur, highlighting his concerns about the young quarterback’s potential in a struggling organization like the Browns. His candid remarks have sparked conversations about the state of the Cleveland Browns and the impact of their decisions on young talent in the league.

As a respected figure in the NFL community, Eric Dickerson’s criticism of the Browns serves as a reminder of the high standards expected of professional football teams. His comments have drawn attention to the challenges faced by players entering struggling organizations and the importance of finding the right fit for success in the league. After Shedeur Sanders was not picked up by the Cleveland Browns, former NFL player Eric Dickerson expressed his disappointment, stating, “I wish they would have cut him. Let him have an opportunity to go to a better football team.” Dickerson believes that Sanders won’t get a fair chance with the Browns because he doesn’t think they truly wanted him on the team. In fact, Dickerson went as far as to say that he believes head coach Kevin Stefanski should have been fired as well for not supporting Sanders.

Dickerson, a former Rams tailback, made it clear that he is not a fan of the Browns but is a fan of Shedeur and Deion Sanders. He has been vocal about his support for Sanders, even claiming that he had heard the NFL ordered its teams not to draft the young quarterback from Colorado.

During a recent interview at the airport, Dickerson reiterated his stance, stating that he had inside information from a source within the National Football League. He expressed his belief that it was wrong how Sanders was treated and referenced Mel Kiper’s statement that he had never seen anything like this in 30 years, suggesting that there may have been some underlying issues at play.

Dickerson also addressed rumors that Sanders had told the Ravens not to draft him because he didn’t want to sit behind Lamar Jackson. Dickerson dismissed these rumors as untrue, calling them out as false information.

In addition to discussing Sanders, Dickerson shared his thoughts on other NFL players, including the Rams, Saquon Barkley, and Derrick Henry. Despite his disappointment in how Sanders was handled by the Browns, Dickerson continues to be a vocal supporter of the young quarterback and hopes to see him succeed with a team that values his talent and potential.
