MGM+ has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming series “Robin Hood,” which is set to debut on November 2 in the United States. The series will premiere with the first two episodes, followed by weekly new episodes culminating in the season finale on December 28.
The reimagined story of “Robin Hood” captures the enduring tale of a dashing outlaw who defies injustice by robbing from the wealthy to aid the destitute. The narrative follows Rob, a Saxon forester’s son, and Marian, who is the daughter of a Norman lord, as they navigate love amidst conflict during the Norman invasion of England. United by their cause, Rob rises to lead a group of valiant outlaws while Marian cleverly engages in political intrigue at court, both tirelessly fighting against royal corruption to restore peace.
The cast features Jack Patten as Robin Hood, Lauren McQueen playing Marian, Sean Bean as the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham, Lydia Peckham as Priscilla of Nottingham, Steven Waddington portraying the Earl of Huntingdon, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.
Co-created by executive producers John Glenn, Jonathan English, and Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures, the series is produced by Lionsgate Television, promising a fresh take on the legendary hero’s saga.

In other news, Amazon Prime Video has also released an official trailer for its new psychological thriller series “Lazarus,” scheduled to launch with all six episodes on October 22.
Starring Sam Claflin as Joel Lazarus and featuring Bill Nighy as Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, the series introduces viewers to Jenna Lazarus (Alexandra Roach), Seth McGovern (David Fynn), Bella Catton (Karla Crome), and Detective Alison Brown (Kate Ashfield).

Lastly, the comedy game show “Make Some Noise” is set to return for its fourth season on the streaming platform Dropout, premiering on October 13, with a total of 15 new episodes released biweekly.
