Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have finalized their divorce.
According to court documents exclusively obtained by Us, the marriage dissolution of Brooks, 42, and Kruger became official on Tuesday, July 28. The soap opera actors cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their separation.
As outlined in their settlement agreement, Brooks and Kruger, 43, will retain ownership of the vehicles registered in their respective names, along with all personal propertyâincluding furniture, appliances, clothing, jewelry, and other personal items.
Both will maintain control over their individual financial accounts and retirement assets. Furthermore, they will keep personal earnings acquired from December 31, 2025, which marks their official date of separation.
Brooks will retain his cryptocurrencies, with a portion being allocated to Kruger. Meanwhile, Kruger will keep all inherited assets.
The couple will share joint legal custody and parenting time for their two children, Everleigh, 6, and Gemma, 4, according to the documents. They have waived their rights to spousal support and agreed that no monthly child support will be exchanged at this time. Both are responsible for half of their children’s health insurance costs and will share expenses for other healthcare needs.
Earlier this year, Kruger and Brooks quietly announced their separation after a decade of marriage.
âWeâre committed to coparenting our two children and remaining friends,â the ex-couple expressed in a joint statement to TV Insider.
Us previously reported that Brooks and Kruger filed for divorce in January.

Brooks and Kruger first crossed paths in 2010 while working on the show Blue Mountain State, and they began dating that year.
âWe became best friends, and for a good three to six months she was telling me who to date,â Brooks recounted to Soaps.com about their romance in 2016. âWe were spending so much time together, and one day I just grabbed her head and kissed her.â
Prior to Blue Mountain State, both Brooks and Kruger were involved in soap operas. Brooks is well-known for his role as Max Brady on Days of Our Lives from 2005 to 2010, earning a Daytime Emmy in 2009. Kruger appeared on The Young and the Restless as Mackenzie Browning from 2002 to 2003 and again from 2018 to 2019.
