Jay Leno remains unfazed by the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel‘s show ‘Live!’ on ABC due to comments regarding Charlie Kirk‘s untimely death, asserting to TMZ that Kimmel will “be back on air ‘somewhere’.”
A clip surfaced over the weekend showcasing him in Los Angeles, where he initially feigned reluctance but ultimately expressed support for Kimmel, confident he will resurface on our screens “somewhere.”
Jay is also dismissive of the backlash Kimmel is experiencing, stemming from comments about the alleged conservative affiliation of the suspect in Charlie’s case, noting that Kimmel’s statements were simply reiterations of what others had already expressed.

When asked whether Kimmel should release himself from the grips of late-night television, Jay asserted that such a decision rests entirely upon Jimmy.
As previously reported, ABC halted ‘Live! following FCC Chair Brendan Carr‘s threats to “take action” against the network, prompted by Kimmel’s statements.
In the aftermath, many prominent figures in Hollywood, including Kimmel’s fellow late-night hosts, have rallied to his side.Support has poured in from Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert.
While Jimmy has publicly maintained a low profile regarding the situation, we spotted him smiling in L.A. just a day after the incident.
Charlie’s memorial service took place on Sunday, featuring addresses from notable figures such as Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, among others from the administration.
