After two seasons, she landed the iconic role of C.J. Parker on Baywatch, where she showcased her acting prowess over five successful seasons from 1992 to 1997, becoming one of the series’ longest-serving stars. “I had multiple opportunities to audition for Baywatch after appearing in Playboy,” she recounted in a 2018 interview with the Pamela Anderson Foundation. “However, I wasn’t keen on driving in L.A. and had never been to an audition. I kept turning them down until one day, I accompanied a friend to an audition and we both got hired instantly. They told me I was already famous before I walked in—the famous girl who refused to show up.”
