Prince William Still Upset with Prince Harry Over Royal Rift

As Christmas approaches, families around the world are gearing up for the festivities, but for the British Windsor Royals, the holiday season continues to be marred by the ongoing rift between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry.

Reports suggest that Prince William, the heir to the throne, is still deeply upset with his younger brother Harry for his actions since stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

A recent article in the New York Post quoted Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, stating, “The Prince of Wales remains very, very angry and upset and feels very betrayed.”

While Prince William is said to be resistant to any potential reconciliation, his wife, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is reportedly more open to the idea of healing the rift between the brothers.

According to Nicholl, “Possibly the Princess of Wales is still open to a reconciliation in some form. I still feel it’s quite early. But I do think when you go through something like a cancer diagnosis and you go through the sort of journey that she has done, and you confront your own mortality, you realize life is far too short for rifts and family feuds.”

The royal family, seen as a symbol of unity by the British people, is expected to focus on reconciliation during their Christmas gathering at Sandringham, despite Harry’s absence for the sixth consecutive year.

Nicholl emphasized the importance of coming together as a family, stating, “Never give up hope, there’s always a chance, but of course, it’s always in the timing.”

As preparations are underway for the royal family’s Christmas celebrations at Sandringham, where they will be joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals, the hope for reconciliation between the estranged brothers remains alive.
