The prestigious Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA have recently unveiled the full list of stunt performers and coordinators nominated for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in both motion pictures and television series.
The Stunt Ensemble awards aim to acknowledge the exceptional work of stunt performers and coordinators from the previous year, highlighting their skill and precision in bringing action-packed storytelling to life.
JoBeth Williams, the Chair of the Actor Awards Committee, expressed admiration for the stunt community, recognizing their dedication and courage in pushing the boundaries of action sequences. She emphasized the significant contributions of these artists who put their bodies on the line to make stories come alive on screen.
The nominees for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture include “F1,” “Frankenstein,” “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” “One Battle After Another,” and “Sinners.” On the television side, nominees for the same category include “Andor,” “Landman,” “The Last of Us,” “Squid Game,” and “Stranger Things.”
The upcoming ceremony will be hosted by the talented actress and producer Kristen Bell. The prestigious Life Achievement Award will be presented to the legendary actor and activist Harrison Ford. Additionally, renowned chef Evan Funke will serve as the executive chef for the event for the first time.
The winners will be announced during “The Actor’s Red Carpet,” the official pre-show, which will be streamed live globally on Netflix on March 1 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
