Worker’s Refueling Attempt Ends in Chaos

A worker at an airport recently made headlines after his attempt to refuel a plane went dramatically wrong.
The incident, captured in a video shared on Instagram, shows the worker standing beside an American Eagle aircraft at Dallas Fort-Worth Airport.

In the video, the worker is seen handling a large fuel hose when he seemingly loses control, causing fuel to spray everywhere.
After a brief escape to wipe fuel from his face, he returns to attempt shutting down the fuel system.
An American Airlines spokesperson, which oversees American Eagle, told TMZ, “We’re currently investigating the incident alongside DFW Airport and the fueling contractor, Menzies, and we collaborated to manage the cleanup as required.”
DFW Airport representatives confirmed that their spill containment measures successfully handled the fuel leak and that cleanup operations commenced promptly.
