Social Media Star Alix Earle to Compete on Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars”

Social media sensation Alix Earle has been announced as a contestant on the upcoming Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars.” With a massive following of over 7 million on TikTok and 4 million on Instagram, Earle is a prominent figure in the online world. She gained fame through her popular “get ready with me” videos and went on to be featured on Forbes’ Top Creators and Fashion 50 lists. Earle also co-hosted the “Hot Mess” podcast, which was originally part of Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network before parting ways earlier this year.

The 24-year-old model is the second celebrity to be revealed for the upcoming season, with wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin being the first. The professional dance partners for the contestants and the rest of the cast will be announced at a later date.

Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” saw a successful finale, with its best ratings in three years. The show averaged nearly 8 million viewers and a 1.55 rating with adults 18-49. The finale received 7.95 million total viewers, marking a 25% increase over its live+same day numbers and a 36% increase over its adults 18-49 average. Throughout the season, numerous voting records were broken, culminating in 32 million votes cast for the final teams during the finale.

“Dancing With the Stars” is set to air in the fall on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming the next day on Hulu. The show will feature Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough as co-hosts, along with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

Julianne Hough expressed excitement about Robert Irwin joining the show, stating, “If he’s anything like his sister Bindi, who was an absolute gem, then he’s going to be incredible. That family is full of love and authenticity. Robert’s also in the middle of a bit of a rebrand — he’s charming, youthful, and, let’s be honest, kind of sexy! ‘DWTS’ will be the perfect stage for him to explore this new chapter.”

“Dancing With the Stars” is produced by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions and promises to deliver another season of thrilling performances and fierce competition.
