The tragic incident involving the psycho surgeon accused of killing his ex-wife and her new husband has shocked the community in Ohio. Autopsy reports revealed that Monique and Spencer Tepe were found with a total of 16 gunshot wounds, including shots to their heads, when Michael McKee allegedly broke into their Columbus home and carried out the brutal attack on December 30.

Monique, who had been married to McKee for two years before filing for divorce in 2017, suffered nine gunshot wounds, including one to her right cheek, multiple to her torso, and three to the chest. Spencer, on the other hand, was shot seven times, including once in the head.

The coroner’s report stated that Monique died from gunshot wounds to the head, trunk, and extremities, while Spencer succumbed to visceral, skeletal, and soft tissue injuries. McKee had a history of abusive behavior towards his ex-wife, with court documents revealing that he had threatened to kill her at “any time.”

Witnesses also reported instances of McKee forcing unwanted sexual acts on Monique, strangling her, and making menacing threats about always being her husband. Surveillance footage showed McKee driving near the Tepe’s home weeks before the incident, surveilling the property and making ominous remarks about buying a house next to hers.

On the night of the murder, Monique left a football game early after an altercation involving her ex-husband, while Spencer stayed behind. McKee, who lived 325 miles away in Illinois, returned to the couple’s home and fatally shot them in their sleep, leaving their children unharmed. Police were able to track McKee down at a hospital where he worked, and he was arrested at a Chick-fil-A nearly two weeks later.

McKee has pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. The community mourns the loss of Monique and Spencer Tepe, as they seek justice for the senseless and tragic act committed by McKee.
