Chaos on Board: Woman Duct-Taped After Allegedly Assaulting Flight Attendant
An alarming incident unfolded on an American Airlines flight bound for Las Vegas when passenger Ketty J. Dilone was reportedly restrained with duct tape after engaging in a violent confrontation with a flight attendant. This extraordinary outburst, which included disturbing admissions about trying to poison her father, has captivated and horrified onlookers.
The saga began on September 16, during Dilone’s connecting flight from Charlotte, NC, as she returned from the Dominican Republic. Eyewitness reports indicate that Dilone was erratic, roaming the cabin while verbally threatening flight crew members, prompting the United States Attorneyâs Office District of Nevada to step in.
In response to her alarming behavior, crew members were forced to use zip ties and duct tape to restrain her physically. Despite these measures, Dilone continued her aggression, kicking one flight attendant hard enough to cause a fall, escalating the situation even further.
As the cabin descended into chaos, a video clip surfaced on TikTok capturing Diloneâs tirade, with her shouting that the restraints were painful. âYou donât know what the fâk Iâve been through, bitch! Kill yourself, bitch! You wanna die, bitch?â she exclaimed at a flight attendant, showcasing the depth of her distress.
In a chilling revelation amid her outburst, Dilone confessed to having attempted to poison her father when she was just 11 years old. âI put âroach poisonâ in his coffee,â she nonchalantly stated. âIt didnât work,â she added, explaining that the substance, dubbed ‘Tres Pasito’ in her home country, was meant to kill but only managed to âput him to sleep.â
WARNING: Language
âTres Pasitosâ translates to âthree little stepsâ and refers to a potent pesticide commonly used in the Dominican Republic, which is illegal in the United States, as noted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In an unexpected moment, Dilone appeared to calm down temporarily, singing the chorus to a Spanish song sharing the same title. However, tranquility did not last long, and she soon launched into another tirade, imploring others about how to use poison effectively. âSo if anybody wants to kill somebody, put roach poison! But make sure itâs not expired, and make sure you put a lot of it!â she screamed.
After several chaotic moments filled with tension and concern among fellow passengers, she declared âthe showâs fâking overâ before the video concluded, leaving many in disbelief about her conduct.
FBI agents arrested Dilone after the flight landed at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. She was then taken to the Henderson Detention Center.
On the legal front, Dilone faces serious charges, including one count of interference with a flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating, or wounding. She made her initial court appearance on September 18, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 1.
If convicted, Dilone could face a maximum sentence of 20 years behind bars, highlighting the seriousness of her actions and their consequences for both her and the airline community.
