When questioned about whether he might have been joking or making a lighthearted remark, Burchett firmly stated that he was not.
“I’m being 100 percent serious,” he asserted.
Burchett emphasized the necessity for the government to “disclose it all,” expressing his frustration.
“I’m sick of it,” he added.
He mentioned that he had urged Trump to “release it all,” but did not specify the president’s response.
In February, Trump announced he had instructed government agencies to start releasing files “related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
Trump also remarked at the time that he did not have a personal “opinion” on alien life.
“I never talk about it,” he said. “A lot of people do. A lot of people believe it.”
